Video Production Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

• Support the video and broadcast operations of Lehigh Valley Public Media through all phases of the production process.
• Utilize video production skills to capture and edit high quality video.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Studio and field camera operation.
• Direct multi-camera studio recordings.
• Video editing (Avid and Adobe Premiere).
• Video archiving.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and readiness.
• Set up studio for recordings (Lighting, set construction).
• Assist with equipment maintenance and organization.
• Genie/scissor lift operation.
• Assist with events.
• All other duties as assigned.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Continuously learns and effectively operates various types of A/V equipment.
• Captures and edits videos that meet or exceeds LVPM standards for quality and creativity.

• EXPERIENCE: (Work experience, degree attainment, professional certifications)
  • Minimum of an associate's degree in video/film production.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in broadcast/cable environment preferred.

OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be physically able to bend, lift, and carry up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be physically able to climb on stepstools and ladders.
• May be asked to work longer hours and occasional weekends with short notice.
• As you will/may be driving a company vehicle or your own vehicle on a regular basis, a valid driver's license and a good driving record as determined by a driver's license background check is required for this position.
• All team members must successfully pass a background check (7 years), FBI fingerprint clearance, and PA child abuse clearance.
