What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Production Specialist position at PBS39 and 91.3 WLVR?
JOB SUMMARY:
- Support the video and broadcast operations of Lehigh Valley Public Media through all phases of the production process.
- Utilize video production skills to capture and edit high quality video.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Studio and field camera operation.
- Direct multi-camera studio recordings.
- Video editing (Avid and Adobe Premiere).
- Video archiving.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and readiness.
- Set up studio for recordings (Lighting, set construction).
- Assist with equipment maintenance and organization.
- Genie/scissor lift operation.
- Assist with events.
- All other duties as assigned.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Continuously learns and effectively operates various types of A/V equipment.
- Captures and edits videos that meet or exceeds LVPM standards for quality and creativity.

- Minimum of an associate's degree in video/film production.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in broadcast/cable environment preferred.

OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be physically able to bend, lift, and carry up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds.
- Must be physically able to climb on stepstools and ladders.
- May be asked to work longer hours and occasional weekends with short notice.
- As you will/may be driving a company vehicle or your own vehicle on a regular basis, a valid driver's license and a good driving record as determined by a driver's license background check is required for this position.
- All team members must successfully pass a background check (7 years), FBI fingerprint clearance, and PA child abuse clearance.
