Responsibilities
- Assist in providing high-quality dental care to patients, including pediatric patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Perform X-Ray procedures as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Epic for patient management and record keeping.
- Support the dentist during procedures through four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient communications as a dental receptionist.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office and treatment areas.
- Stay informed on medical terminology related to dental practices to enhance communication with patients and staff.
Skills
- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical records management systems.
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Ability to perform X-Ray procedures safely and effectively.
- Understanding of endodontics principles and practices.
- Competence in four-handed dentistry techniques to assist during procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
