Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to an individual in need of assistance due to disabilities or health challenges. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for person in her home, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role will look for someone to assist a young woman with person hygiene, showers etc. Requires lifting. The best candidate would be able to bring her to local activities etc.
Duties
- Assist with showing and some personal care needs.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Help with mobility and lifting as needed.
- Drive individual to appointments or community activities as available.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to lift and help transfer is necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are required.
- Valid driver's license for transportation duties is preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean environment for residents' health and safety.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
