Pay Range = $38. - $45.00 based on skills and experience.

PCA provides paid training to help technicians advance through the skill levels and achieve higher pay.
Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.

Responsibilities
This position is based at the Honea Path Maintenance and Reliability Center but may require periodic travel to support other PCA plants and do equipment installations.
The Honea Path Maintenance and Reliability Center facility acquires used machines and completely refurbishes and recontrols them. These machines are completely rewired and reprogrammed with modern hardware, software, upgrades and increased functionality.
This position will be focused on developing PLC Programming for machine controls. The primary systems we build are Automation Direct and Allen Bradley.
The PLC programmer will work with the electrical and mechanical team to program the machine controls to work reliably and intuitively.
Basic Qualifications
3 Years’ experience in a PLC Programming role.
A reliable work history.
A Technical Degree or certification in PLC Programming and/or Allen Bradley Software training.
This is a day shift job.
Be Authorized to work in the US.
Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
