What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Staff Engineer - Electrical position at PCA?
The Senior Staff Engineer will travel to various PCA locations to support projects across the organization, both in manufacturing plants and paper mills. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience, 5 years in industrial paper and/or corrugating, or design engineering environment. This is a hands-on position, working side-by-side with the leaders, craft, and personnel to drive the projects to completion. General Requirements:
Bachelor of Science: Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
10 years as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, or Electrical Field Tech Support
Paper Mill or Box Plant Experience is a plus
Converting Machine Installation Experience is a plus

Specification and Installation of Power Distribution Equipment – 480V Switchboards/Panels
AC/DC Motors and Drives- Troubleshooting, Maintenance Start-up
480V Motor Control Center Specification and Installation
Variable Frequency Drives: Siemens, Rockwell PowerFlex Drives
General Knowledge of PLC’s and Controls Troubleshooting
ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, PLC5 families; Siemens PLC
PLC Controls Design – Hardware and Software
Operator Interface: Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View, PanelView
General knowledge of IT Systems and Network Infrastructure
Good Working Knowledge of the NEC and NPFA-70E
Live anywhere in Continental US within a reasonable commute to a Commercial Airport
