Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial tasks, including floor care, industrial cleaning, and general facilities maintenance. Working every weekend is a must.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial setting, including dusting, sweeping &mopping, and taking out trash.
- Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Conduct industrial cleaning as needed to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a clean environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger cleaning projects or maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
