Description
- Approaching all individuals entering the facility with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing greetings and basic information about the facility.
- Assisting patients, visitors, and staff by directing them to the appropriate departments, waiting rooms, or appointment areas within the clinic.
- Responding to inquiries regarding clinic services, policies, visiting hours, and general information.
- Creating a welcoming and positive environment by engaging in friendly conversation and addressing concerns promptly.
- Answer direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
- Enforcing PCC’s safety protocols by monitoring access points, reporting any suspicious activity, and ensuring compliance with visitor policies.
- Ensure that only authorized individuals can access restricted areas by overseeing and enforcing access control policies
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate security-related matters such as physical access, cybersecurity and personnel issues.
- Provide exceptional service to visitors and clients, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Work closely with various departments to facilitate smooth communication and administrative support.
- Performing reception duties such as providing information and directing visitors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area.
Qualifications
Experience/Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
- 3-5 years prior experience at a front desk, administrative, or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse individuals
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology and procedures is beneficial
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to stand, bend and stretch.
- Ability to travel and maneuver between site locations if needed.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
- Ability to type for long periods of time.
- Ability to be on-site at least 5 days a week.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and write proficiently using the English language.
- Ability to interact and speak effectively in interpersonal situations.
