What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Control Clerk position at PCCA?
What We’re Looking For
The Production Control Clerk ensures that there is uninterrupted workflow along with providing support to the production team.
What You Will Do
- Validate products against paperwork
- Verify labels and count against paperwork
- Perform scale calibrations
- Perform cleanliness checks
- Gather any needed utensils for the repackers
- Arrange equipment to make ready for use
- Follow all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure that all data is documented accurately on the work order
- Close the work orders then upon completion, record the data and enter it into the ERP system
- Back-up Assistant Team Leader
- Assist other departments, as needed
- Perform repackaging, as needed
- Assist with related projects, as assigned
Who You Are
- High School diploma
- Current knowledge of cGMP
- Six months to one year experience in a production environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills in all units of measuring, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving, multitasking and analytical skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and work independently with minimal supervision
- Entry level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Prior experience leading a team, a plus
