Position Overview :
The Director of Kids Programming and Camp is a dynamic, high-energy leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a variety of children’s sports and activity-based programs, including camps, sports clinics, STEM initiatives, mad science activities, and special events such as birthday parties and kids’ member events. This individual will recruit, train, and lead a team of counselors, ensuring they deliver exceptional experiences for kids while engaging with club members and fostering a strong community. The Director will also play a key role in driving program sales and member engagement, ensuring that children’s programs meet the highest standards of fun, safety, and educational value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Program Design & Development :
Design and implement a diverse range of children’s programming that is activity-based, educational, and fun, including sports, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), mad science, and enrichment programs.
Oversee all aspects of summer and seasonal camps, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily camp activities.
Drive the planning, coordination, and execution of birthday parties, ensuring they are fun, unique, and aligned with the club’s standards for entertainment and safety.
Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of counselors and program staff, ensuring they are aligned with the club’s expectations for professionalism, safety, and enthusiasm.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for kids' programming, birthday parties, camps, and other events.
Manage the budget for all kids’ programs, birthday parties, and special events, ensuring fiscal responsibility and effective use of resources.
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and community organizations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Ensure all programs, parties, and events comply with safety standards and regulations.
