Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)? Join Person County Group Homes (PCGH) as a Live-In Direct Support Professional and help create a caring, supportive environment for our residents.

7-On / 7-Off Schedule : Work-life balance with a rotating schedule. During your 7 days on, you’ll live on-site in a provided living space (not working the entire time).
Full-Time Role : 40 hours per week, with optional overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Live On-Site : Reside in an agency-provided apartment during your 7-day shift.

Daily Living Support : Assist residents with personal care, meal preparation, and routines.

Foster Independence : Implement personalized care plans and support life-skill development.

Resident Engagement : Facilitate group activities and social events to enrich residents’ lives.

Record-Keeping : Maintain accurate care documentation and monitor residents’ progress.

What We’re Looking For

Compassionate individuals passionate about working with adults with IDD.

Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.

GED or higher education required.

A valid NC driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check.
