PCGH, Inc. (formerly known as Person County Group Homes, Inc.) seeks compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as a full-time Direct Support Professional in a Group Home located in Roxboro, NC. PCGH, Inc. empowers adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) to lead fulfilling, independent lives. Position Details :

  • Permanent, full-time position with benefits and a set schedule.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

  • Support individuals with developmental disabilities with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, personal care, and evening routines.
  • Follow individualized care plans to meet residents' unique needs and goals.
  • Foster a safe, encouraging environment that promotes independence.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of progress and activities.

  • Previous experience with adults with IDD is preferred.
  • Dependability
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive, resident-focused attitude.
  • A GED or high school diploma from accredited institution is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is necessary for occasional resident transportation using company vehicles.

    • Location Requirements :

    Applicants must have reliable transportation and / or live in or at a commutable distance from Roxboro, NC.

    We currently have several open Full Time jobs for Direct Care Staff. The specific schedules for each of the current DSP openings should be displayed currently at your assigned program(s).

    All open positions with PCGH, Inc take place on-site in Roxboro, NC at one of our many Group Homes and / or in one of our three Day Program locations.

    If the specific schedule for the position listed here does not match with your availability, please inquire with HR about other Direct Care / DSP jobs that we have open at the time!

    In general, we employ Direct Care staff in many capacities :

  • Full Time Staff in either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift roles
  • On Call Flex Team (flexible schedule and hours are based on staffing needs of the agency)
  • Part Time set schedules and
  • 7-on / 7-off (Live-in) Caregiver - please inquire!
