Director - Day Program for Adults with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated Day Program leader to develop and oversee individualized program plans for adults with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both this population and the elderly. Key responsibilities include ensuring effective program delivery, supervision of staff, and monitoring progress.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of post-graduate experience with the population served, OR
Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field and 4 years of post-graduate experience with the population served.
Supervisory experience
Strong communication and computer skills

Oversee daily operations of the day program, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Supervise and mentor staff, fostering professional development and effective teamwork.

Develop and implement program activities that promote social engagement and personal growth.

Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Build and maintain relationships with families, stakeholders, and community partners to enhance program effectiveness.

Ensure all documentation and reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.
