Job Summary As a Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, Recreation Facilities, and, if applicable, Laundry. This role fosters a positive work environment by leading and working alongside housekeeping associates to maintain the highest cleanliness standards in hotel guestrooms, public spaces, and associated areas. Your focus will be on operational excellence, team leadership, and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Manager supervises daily operations, ensures compliance with policies and procedures, manages staffing levels, conducts thorough inspections, coordinates VIP room preparations, and implements innovative cleaning techniques and budget management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily Housekeeping operations, including staffing levels, compliance with policies, and department productivity to ensure high service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities, ensuring cleanliness, proper maintenance, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Implement and oversee general cleaning schedules, new cleaning techniques, and innovative supply management to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage VIP guestroom inspections in collaboration with the Sales team and provide personalized service for special guest requests.
  • Supervise and assist with inventory control, including the ordering and distribution of guestroom supplies, cleaning products, and uniforms.
  • Engage with guests to obtain feedback, address concerns, and create a positive guest experience while empowering associates to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor budgets, payroll reports, and financial objectives, ensuring efficient use of resources to meet or exceed budgetary goals.
