About this role:
You'll work closely with the Banquet Captain and Manager to ensure seamless event execution, providing warm and welcoming service to our guests. Your ability to multitask and pay attention to detail will be essential in delivering an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and Preparation: Carefully read Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to arrange tables with clean linens, silverware, and other essentials, setting the stage for a spectacular event.
- Exceptional Service: Deliver dishes promptly, refill drinks, and maintain a clean and organized station, always prioritizing our guests' needs.
- Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our menu to confidently recommend options to guests, enhancing their dining experience.
- Environment Maintenance: Keep table condiments stocked and ensure cleanliness throughout the event, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Clearing Procedures: Follow established clearing procedures to efficiently break down service stations after events.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the Banquet Captain and Manager to guarantee smooth operations and outstanding service from start to finish.
- Hospitality Expertise: Demonstrate an 'Aggressive Hospitality' approach, warmly greeting guests and adhering to food and beverage service standards.
- Sales and Promotions: Utilize your charm to promote beverages and menu highlights, adding value to guests' experiences.
- Supportive Tasks: Complete assigned tasks, such as cleaning equipment and organizing linens, to contribute to a well-functioning team.
