What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Coordinator position at PCH?

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Catering Coordinator to support our Catering Sales Managers in managing all aspects of meetings and functions.
Key Components of the role will include :
- Book business for meetings and events, ensuring all details are meticulously captured.
- Prepare and send contracts to clients, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Write and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Schedule of Events (SOEs).
- Coordinate audio-visual requirements and convention details to enhance guest experiences.
- Respond promptly to general inquiries via telephone, email, and mail with a clear and pleasant demeanor.
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Handle administrative tasks including typing correspondence, opening and distributing mail, photocopying, and sending faxes.
- Assist with special projects as needed to support the catering team.
