Overview
Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and API’s. Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position. Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications. Functions as the lead Web Software Developer.
Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements to determine the feasibility of a design within requirement constraints
- Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
- Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
- Research, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
- Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software
- Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
- Participates in development of software user manuals
- Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database
- Reviews and develops object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access
- Projects long-range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function
- Applies knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end (e.g., COGNOS)/back-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
- Performs database programming and supports systems design
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline
- Minimum of seven (7) years of specialized experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
- Perform systems analyst duties relating to the evaluation of computer hardware and software
- Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
- Knowledge of industry-leading data quality and data protection management practices
- Preferred, experience working in federal government and/or DHS/ICE
Pay Range
USD $180,000.00 - USD $195,000.00 /Yr.EEO
