- Adhere to Standard Work procedures to ensure operational excellence.
- Prepare, operate, and maintain inserting machinery, demonstrating troubleshooting abilities as needed.
- Accurately complete logs, documentation, and computer functions in accordance with established processes.
- Collaborate effectively with the Assistant Operator to ensure the appropriate processing of finished materials.
- Evaluate workflow efficiency and identify potential improvements at each stage of production.
- Conduct routine inserting procedures, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
- Maintain a clean work area and uphold 5S standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comply with all security and compliance requirements as mandated.
- Proficiency in following Standard Work procedures.
- Technical expertise in operating inserting machines, with a preference for familiarity with equipment such as Pitney Bowes and Bell and Howell.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality adherence in all processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery and perform preventative maintenance effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
- Basic computer literacy and an understanding of workflow processes.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required; vocational or technical school diploma or certificate is preferred.
- Experience in a similar mail facility with knowledge of inserting machines is desired.
- Proficient in reading and writing English.
