Description
Manages staff during scheduled shifts and supervises facility operations. Helps in the Command Center, focusing on real-time monitoring of systems and enforcement. Helps and supports to Management. Serves as the main point of contact for staff and resolves customer and employee concerns. Shows a commitment to quality service by using knowledge of parking ordinances, parking options and rates, Oceanfront events and amenities to assist guests and residents. Performs garage inspections, troubleshoots equipment and assist customers using our parking equipment and QR codes. Creates a positive image of the City of OKC by demonstrating a high degree of professionalism.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Demonstrates knowledge of Oceanfront area, events, and amenities
· Facilitates effective communication with guests, staff, and management
· Understands front line responsibilities
· Uses e-mail as a daily communication tool
· Helps in the Command Center, focusing on real-time monitoring of systems and enforcement
· Is able to use technology to monitor and enforce compliance of city parking ordinances and regulations
· Uses point-of-sale systems to process parking transactions
· Ensures that all employees are following company policies and procedures
· Has the responsibility of coaching, explaining, counseling, and encouraging employees when they are having performance issues
Has the responsibility of opening or closing the facilities
· Makes certain that all employees are equipped at the start of their shift
· Conducts daily meetings at shift start to advise staff of events, policy changes etc.
· Completes daily employee assessment forms
· Completes hourly garage walks to ensure the safety of the facilities
· Practices excellent customer service skills to resolve guest and employee concerns
· Promotes public and resident safety by maintaining a state of awareness of physical hazards and suspicious activity
· Relieves staff for breaks
· Assists with employee training
· Inspects vehicles/equipment at start and end of shift and reports any issues to management
· Monitors vehicle counts in garages
· Assists with and educates guests on the operation of parking meters
· Assist customers purchasing monthly and weekly parking passes
· Acts as a liaison for the city of OKC
· Safely operates company vehicles.
