Who Youll Work For

PCI Municipal Services is a contractor to the Lexington Fayette County Parking Authority (LEXPARK) and operate 4 parking garages and 1 lot in Lexington, KY.

What Youll Do

The Parking Maintenance staff perform a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the garages and lot, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/clients expectations. Depending on the needs of the location, the Parking Maintenance staff is responsible for general cleanliness and safety. The Parking Maintenance staff works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and Garage Manager to ensure that standards are met at all times.

Perform daily check on parking equipment to ensure proper operation and general appearance.

Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to Operations Manager or Garage Manager, as necessary.

Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Garage Manager.

Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates.

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the garage by sweeping and removing trash
• Mop stairwells, dust equipment, handrails and signs
• Perform restroom maintenance
• Ability to conduct watering of landscape and snow removal
• Ensure positive experience for all customers and clients
• Work effectively as a team with co-workers and management
• Ability to conduct open space counts
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly facility
• Capability to work with cleaning chemicals
• Ability to take direction from manager or supervisor
• 1 year of previous maintenance experience
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Positive Attitude
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to record and enter data in an app on an iphone or android

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift
• Ability to position self perform maintenance tasks by bending or stooping
• Perform maintenance tasks by occasionally climbing and reaching
