MAIN OBJECTIVES:
The Shift Coordinator assists the Operations Area Managers and the Senior Operations Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations for the off-street sector of the Ann Arbor municipal parking system. This position has responsibilities tied to revenue, assets, and the parking software for eight parking structures and three open parking lots. This position works directly with the hourly staff and can delegate duties as needed. This position is also customer facing. This position reports to the Senior Operations Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Provides service to parkers with how to utilize Parking Access Revenue Control PARCS equipment including but not limited to pulling a ticket and paying for parking.
- Provides service to parkers with way finding.
- Assists field staff with daily tasks through Fiix software.
- Maintains and updates parking stall inventory in Smart Park TIBA software.
- Assist customers remotely with gate and ticket issues as needed.
- Maintains detailed record of tasks, events, and happenings in shift report to include but not limited to customer calls, assigned tasks and completion, attendance, equipment issues, remote monitoring calls, and supply requests.
- Assists management with dispatching staff to specific locations and tasks.
- Issues codes to cashiers for parking ticket exceptions as needed.
- Provide change to cashiers.
- Prepare cash deposits.
- Count down change fund daily.
- Regularly operate intercom system, phones, and CCTV/DVR.
- Communicate regularly and as needed with key stakeholders both verbally as well as email.
WORK LOCATION AND SETTING:
- Main office is located inside of the Ann & Ashley Parking Structure 220 N. Ashley Street Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
- This is an in-person position in an office setting.
SALARY & SCHEDULE:
- Hourly position: Starting at $21.00/hour
- Full Time Schedule (40hrs per week): Thursday (5am-6pm) Friday (5am-6pm) Saturday (5am-7:30pm)
- 4 days off in a work week (Sunday – Wednesday)!
