What are the responsibilities and job description for the NCS Communications Strategist III, FSP position at PCI Productions, LLC?
Duties
- Responsible for a broad range of communication initiatives for NASA’s Fission Surface Power (FSP) project at the Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, Ohio
- Build relationships with NASA stakeholders and provide communication support for the FSP project
- Handle multiple and complex projects simultaneously under tight timelines and changing priorities/relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks
- Responsible for the research, strategy, planning, integration, and execution of communication strategies, plans, and message management processes.
- Responsible for coordinating and integrating communication approaches and products across multiple communication disciplines and platforms.
- Duties include contributing to high-level executive communications including quick turnaround responses.
- Write and edit communication products.
- Responsible for generating routine and/or ad-hoc reports for the client to include metrics management to assess impact of communication products and services.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.
Pay Range: Up to $95,000 depending on experience
Job Requirements
- BA/BS Journalism, Multimedia, Communications, or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in communications
- Must be able to write to a range of audiences and creatively explain complex technical ideas in an approachable, compelling way
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Experience with editing and familiarity with AP style are a plus
- Flexibility to travel depending on mission and client requirements.
Salary : $95,000
