EHS Intern (Industrial Hygiene) Summer 2022

This position will support the Industrial Hygiene team to ensure a safe, healthy and accident-free work environment. The IH intern works closely with various departments in support of PCI's Health and Safety programs, goals, and objectives. Promotes a culture of continual improvement of work processes for reducing health, safety, and environmental risks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

• Work closely with the PCI Industrial Hygiene department to maintain, and ensure compliance with the PCI Respiratory Protection Program and Hearing Conservation Program.
• Perform qualitative industrial hygiene Product Assessments for new customer products
• Track, manage, and update existing product assessments as needed or at least every two (2) years.
• Conduct employee exposure monitoring.
• Manage and run reports on collected industrial hygiene data to support control and personal protective equipment decisions.
• This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
• Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
• Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
