Java Architect

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement software architecture and design patterns.
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create architectural blueprints, technical documentation, and roadmaps.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Review and approve all technical designs and code developed by the team.
• Stay updated on current technologies and industry trends and advocate for best practices.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Lead technical discussions and problem-solving sessions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of software solutions.
• Implement coding standards, code reviews, and testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with product managers, UX designers, technology and platform team and other stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
• Communicate architectural decisions and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Extensive experience with software development and coding in various languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript, Python) with a primary focus on Java
• Familiarity with various frameworks and technologies (e.g., Angular, React,Spring, .NET).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Certification in software architecture or cloud computing.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker,Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in developing enterprise-level software solutions
• Availability to work on site from Tuesday to Thursday (Magdalena, Lima)
• Advanced English skills.
