Java Architect

Responsibilities:
- Define and implement software architecture and design patterns.
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create architectural blueprints, technical documentation, and roadmaps.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Review and approve all technical designs and code developed by the team.
- Stay updated on current technologies and industry trends and advocate for best practices.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Lead technical discussions and problem-solving sessions.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of software solutions.
- Implement coding standards, code reviews, and testing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with product managers, UX designers, technology and platform team and other stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
- Communicate architectural decisions and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Extensive experience with software development and coding in various languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript, Python) with a primary focus on Java
- Familiarity with various frameworks and technologies (e.g., Angular, React,Spring, .NET).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Certification in software architecture or cloud computing.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker,Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in developing enterprise-level software solutions
- Availability to work on site from Tuesday to Thursday (Magdalena, Lima)
- Advanced English skills.
