We are seeking an experienced Craft Processor for our PCL office in Deer Park Texas.
As a CRAFT PROCESSOR for our PCL Industrial Construction Co., you will contribute to our team by:
- Coordinates required safety training for new hires per jobsite requirements
- Schedules pre-employment drug test and follicle test
- Interface with vendors regarding schedule issues or results
- Monitors candidates’ status within all pre required testing
- Craft test candidates per craft discipline
- Assist with verification where needed
- Maintain quota for new hire reporting to Onboard
- Interface with Jobsite personnel
- Meet jobsite prerequisite requirements such as badge request
- Other duties as required
What you will bring to the role:
- certificate or post secondary diploma / degree in a related discipline preferred.
- 2 or more years of progressive experience in hands on labor relations and Industrial Relations
- Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
- Basic business acumen and understanding of industry practices and new developments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization and a fast-paced environment.
- Seen as a trusted advisor with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present content and ideas that influence a favorable outcome.
- Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
- Understands and comprehends all labor-agreements and government legislation,
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Workers Compensation, and alcohol and drug testing laws
