Here's how an Craft Recruiter for our US PICCo office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Actively sources candidates through a variety of networks and maintain a status of qualified candidates for hard-to-fill roles
- Screens candidate’s application and conducts interview for available job opportunities
- Verifies qualifications within candidate trade with previous employment work history
- Verifies and confirms craft trade certifications
- Works closely with other craft recruiters within the team to meet project(s) demands
- Develops and maintains an effective network with other HR Professionals and Recruiters within the network and or participating industry
Qualifications
Certificate or postsecondary diploma / degree in a related discipline preferred.
5 years of progressive recruitment experience in Heavy Industrial Construction or a related industry preferred.
Ability to travel to jobsites on as need bases or travel for job fairs or recruiting functions. Maybe necessary to relocate depending on company needs.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with full-cycle recruitment process and development of talent acquisition strategies.
Extensive knowledge of OFCCP | US Department of Labor Law
Strong business acumen with an understanding of industry practices and new developments.
Ability to mentor and coach entry-level craft recruiters.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present content and ideas that influence a favorable outcome.
Demonstrates flexibility by adapting to varying work hours, days, and locations as needed to meet organizational demands.
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred and considered a valuable asset.
