Job Overview: As a Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator you will contribute to our PCL Industrial Services, Inc. team by:
Job Functions
- Monitoring and assisting with the implementation of project-specific HSE plan and requirements
- Providing project team with project specific information and statistics to develop trends and action plans
- Assisting with the development and implementation of hazard ID tools (Job Hazard Analysis)
- Conducting and documenting project HSE inspections
- Verifying corrective actions are implemented
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
- At least 18 months working as an HSE Coordinator.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Compliance with all PCL policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Pass a pre-employment physical examination, DOT and/or Non-DOT drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Demonstrate knowledge of construction processes and terminology
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Ability to implement HSE processes
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to to identify, provide, and apply conflict resolution
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces above- or below-ground level, such as: towers, vessels, scaffolding, excavations, etc.
- Able to carry 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials without assistance.
