Job Overview: As a Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator you will contribute to our PCL Industrial Services, Inc. team by:

Job Functions

• Monitoring and assisting with the implementation of project-specific HSE plan and requirements
• Providing project team with project specific information and statistics to develop trends and action plans
• Assisting with the development and implementation of hazard ID tools (Job Hazard Analysis)
• Conducting and documenting project HSE inspections
• Verifying corrective actions are implemented
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
• At least 18 months working as an HSE Coordinator.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Compliance with all PCL policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Pass a pre-employment physical examination, DOT and/or Non-DOT drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

• Demonstrate knowledge of construction processes and terminology
• Ability to coach and mentor others
• Ability to implement HSE processes
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to to identify, provide, and apply conflict resolution
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces above- or below-ground level, such as: towers, vessels, scaffolding, excavations, etc.
• Able to carry 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials without assistance.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
