Meeting The Following Requirements
As a Instrument Fitter Journeyman for our PICCo District at our CP CHEM Project in Orange, Texas you will contribute to our team by:
- Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs.
- Install various types of instrumentation such as temperature, pressure, level, and flow gauges
- Thread, bend, cut and install tubing and piping systems as per specifications, templates and drawings, including heat traced tubing bundle.
- Leak test instrumentation tubing install to ensure proper functionality and safety measures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Adhere to all site safety regulations and procedures
- Completed a recognized industrial mechanical course, technical diploma or equivalent education and work experience
- Prior experience in industrial mechanical equipment maintenance or installation is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The capability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as individually
- A strong commitment to safety and quality assurance
- Must have minimum of four years hands on experience
- Must be able to pass DISA Background, Follicle, UA and BAT
