Here's how a(n) Warehouse Shipper/Receiver for our Solar USA office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for pre-job safety instruction (PSI) and job hazard analysis (JHA). Safely tests and inspects tools and equipment.
- Promotes a safety culture.
- Selects and stores material, equipment, and tools to satisfy the requirements of the requisitions.
- Champion initiatives to reduce non-value add activities and streamline processes while maintaining or improving effectiveness.
- Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Responsible for housekeeping of the facility.
- Assists with the loading and offloading of material, equipment, and tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year warehouse operations experience
- Ability to safely operate forklift and other equipment to load/unload material.
- Effective organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to understand and employ the company’s specifications, methods, and procedures.
- Basic understanding of construction tools, materials, and equipment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Basic computer knowledge.
