Entry Level PC Technician

• Hours:
• Monday - Friday and some Saturdays

Duties:

• Diagnose and assess computers, laptops, and Mac devices.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and direct call traffic to the appropriate person.
• Call customers to inform them about the status of their devices or projects.
• Open, update, and finalize tickets using our ticketing system (training provided).
• Create invoices (training provided).
• Handle computer pickups and drop-offs, and explain the drop-off procedure.
• Provide computer and telecommunication support for providers and staff.
• Build or configure new hardware, and troubleshoot system issues, including boot troubleshooting, virus removals, and disk cloning.
• Install and update software packages, and create and maintain computer networks.
• Support the IT specialist and the bench area.

Requirements:

• Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact, and diplomacy in handling difficult situations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to process credit card charges (training provided).
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Energetic, inquisitive, eager learner with a can-do attitude.
• Non Smoking
• Well spoken and able to have a technical conversation with clients.
• Must have a car.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Computer hardware: 1 year (Required)
• custom build computers: 1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Windows and mac operating system: 1 year (Required)
• network support: 1 year (Required)
