The Position

The role of Marketing Manager develops and executes targeted marketing strategies and campaigns targeting growth in the Spoke division of the PCNA.  This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing communication growth strategies, plans, and campaigns to drive category expansion and revenue.  This includes multi-channel targeted go-to-market and campaign planning & execution, across email, social media, paid media, website, promotions, tradeshows, and events to drive aggressive sales growth leveraging our competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning and marketing plan to drive growth in new and existing markets
  • Develop, execute, and optimize end-to-end marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with data analysts to analyze campaign data and leverage learnings to guide future planning
  • Develop materials for executive reporting and provide actionable insights to executive teams
  • Support evaluation and prioritization of new markets through market and competitive analysis
  • Develop a keen understanding of the print-on-demand landscape to refine target segments, customer personas, areas for growth opportunity and strategic campaigns that drive conversion.
  • Collaborate with PCNA marketing team to optimize campaign components for each channel including digital, display, email, social, print, and organic SEO
  • Proactively ideate and build tools to support the sales team go-to-market
  • Ensure new offerings are launched effectively including tools to support the sales team
  • Manage marketing asset updates to ensure messaging freshness and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Market Research Analyst to gain customer insights, needs and perception and recommend performance and campaign improvements

         

        Skills and Knowledge

        • Experience developing marketing strategies that align with business objectives, including value proposition definition, target audience identification, positioning, and messaging
        • Proven track record in planning, executing, and optimizing targeted and direct marketing campaigns across various channels to effectively reach and engage target audiences
        • Experience with digital marketing channels and analyzing effectiveness
        • Proficiency in defining and promoting product features, benefits or offerings, and unique selling points that speak to customer needs and drive sales growth
        • Ability to understand market analyses to evaluate growth opportunities
        • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment; deadline-driven
        • Ability to collaborate cross functionally to drive results
        • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational skills
        • Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data, derive actionable insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies and tactics
        • Customer-centric mindset with a deep curiosity and/or understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviors
        • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools to streamline effective marketing processes and track performance metrics.

         

        Minimum Qualifications

        • BS/BA in Marketing, Product, Strategy, Business, or related field
        • Minimum 7 years of marketing experience with a strong focus on developing and execution marketing campaigns
        • Experience developing marketing strategies that align with business objectives, including value proposition definition, target audience identification, positioning, and messaging
        • Experience in the promotional products or printing industry a plus
        • Strong skillset in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
        • Strong verbal and written communication
        • Strong presentation skills and ability to tell a story through slides
