The Position

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Human Resources, the Senior HR Business Partner works closely with business leaders to achieve growth and profitability objectives. Advises and supports leadership on human capital matters, using key metrics and trends to drive business outcomes. Acts as a consultant and change agent to management, building partnerships across HR to deliver value-added services. Supports activities related to workforce planning, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with client groups to align human capital goals with business needs.
  • Serve as a consultant and change agent, providing human capital solutions for client groups.
  • Lead workforce planning and support Talent Acquisition to meet current and future staffing needs. Manage relationships with temporary employment vendors to source, identify, and pay a flexible labor pool for production demands, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Drive performance management processes to ensure client groups are performance-driven, utilizing coaching to foster success and improvement. Provide coaching to managers and employees on effective techniques for handling sensitive performance-related issues, with a focus on improving individual and team results.
  • Develop and deliver training aligned with corporate strategies and support employee development and succession planning.
  • Manage employee relations and resolve complex issues in alignment with company policies.
  • Implement and communicate HR programs and policies to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • Creates Trust: Cultivates a high-trust environment by demonstrating integrity, setting the example for others, and fostering an atmosphere of respect and transparency across teams.
  • Builds Partnerships & Influences: Develops strong, lasting relationships at all organizational levels and leverages influence to drive collaborative, business-focused solutions and achieve collective goals.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations, convey ideas clearly, and facilitate productive conversations across diverse groups.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery through effective delegation, collaboration, and a focus on results, all while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Independent Judgment: Strong decision-making ability, especially in sensitive situations, using sound judgment to assess scenarios and take decisive action with or without direct supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, at least 3 of which functioning in a HR Business Partner capacity.
  • SHRM Certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
