As the Vice President of Software Engineering, you will be at the center of our technical strategy, steering a global network of engineers and architects toward innovative, stable, and scalable products and solutions. Your mandate extends beyond managing teams—you will shape the engineering culture, refine core processes, and influence the company’s overall product vision. By working in close collaboration with product and sales, security, and customer success, you will ensure that the solutions we deliver are not just cutting-edge and robust but also aligned with evolving market demands and user-centric design principles. In this role, you will directly impact how billions of identities are verified, protected, and managed worldwide, setting the pace for an industry at a critical juncture. This role can be contract to hire or Direct Hire- the conversion salary is $200,000 - $225,0000 approximately plus bonus, benefits and equity- candidate MUST BE located in EST or CST only
Candidate MUST have extensive documented biometric, authentication, cryptography experience.
Required :
Experience : 10 years in software engineering with at least 5 in senior leadership (VP,Senior Director) roles overseeing globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated success in scaling SaaS / PaaS platforms, cloud-native services, and complex distributed architectures.
Technical Mastery : I n-depth knowledge of IAM, cryptography, and related frameworks (FIDO2, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML). Expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP),
container orchestration (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code, and CI / CD automation.
Security & Compliance : Proven track record implementing SSDLC, DevSecOps, and data protection controls aligned with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS requirements. Familiarity with PKI, TLS, AES-256, tokenization, and advanced encryption strategies.
Leadership & Communication : Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and
communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for a variety of audiences, from C-suite executives to junior developers.

Academic & Professional Credentials : Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, Math, or
a related field.
High-Growth Experience : Experience in a high-growth or startup environment, scaling
teams from the ground up, and rapidly evolving technical stacks to meet emerging
customer needs.
Innovative Techniques : Familiarity with advanced data privacy methods (homomorphic
encryption, differential privacy) and a wide range of biometric modalities (fingerprint,
vein, voice, behavioral).
Certifications demonstrating professional rigor and continuous learning.
