About the Role
The full-time National Impact Manager position is responsible for the continued development and implementation of PCs for People’s national outreach strategies and relationships with specific revenue targets and key performance indicators. The position will support growth, coordination and collaboration of PCs for People with partner nonprofit agencies to increase digital awareness and literacy across the country, with emphasis on priority markets. This position will also lead in building partnerships and a network of nonprofit partners to maximize distribution, usage, and impact of affordable technology in our community. This position is an in person position at an existing office and reports to the Director of Development.

Key Role Responsibilities
RELATIONSHIPS
- Acts as local face of PCs for People in targeted markets across the country, promoting our mission and programs through a network of relationships
- Partners with marketing department to implement strategies to promote programs and services through all media outlets
- Professionally represents PCs for People in meetings, conferences and at events for best visibility and educates targeted audiences about all of PCs for People’s programs and services including Sourcing, Refurbishing/Recycling, Distributing, Connecting and Supporting
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with partners and funders to increase distribution and use of programs and services in marginalized communities
- Manages distribution partnerships ensuring timely outcomes, strong communication, and customer satisfaction
- Assist in identifying volunteers and volunteer opportunities
- Assists in building and facilitating advisory councils
- Supports retail operations in “home” market and provides coverage as needed
- Works with “home” Community Impact Manager during PCs for People in-store events to ensure adequate coverage
- Directly supervising Community Impact Managers across multiple locations
- the National Community Impact Leader is directly responsible for achieving their individual KPIs while also ensuring that Community Impact Managers meet their respective performance targets
- Ensuring alignment with national outreach strategies and digital equity initiatives
- Facilitating collaboration between branches to enhance impact
- Training & Compliance: Ensuring all Community Impact Managers adhere to standardized operating procedures and participate in professional development
- Manages a network of distribution accounts, approving applications, filling orders and orchestrating logistics
- Approves tax exemptions and ensures eligibility documents
- Coordinates and executes in person events in targeted communities as needed
- Coordinates and executes bulk distribution
- Assist in the creation and training of Community Impact standard operating procedures
- Completely and accurately follows workflows and processes to distribute, document, invoice, and collect funds
- Identifies and submits grants for National Impact to subsidize costs for marginalized populations
- Seeks and participates in targeted digital equity activities
- Assists with the submission and execution of program, capacity and general operating grant opportunities
- Assists in the creation and documentation of workflows and processes
- Follows all standard operating procedures for position activities
- Identifies and supports external funding opportunities to Write in Tech by other nonprofit organizations or entities
- Participates in staff training and development
- Supports all Community Impact efforts as needed
- Other duties as may be assigned
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 5 years in a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to take initiative, establish priorities, problem solve and function independently
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit a high degree of quality, integrity, and honor confidentiality of appropriate information including, but not limited to, customer data, organizational operations or work processes, donor and donor family information, contributor details, any financial information
- Strong working knowledge of Google, Microsoft Office, and Adobe applications
