About The Role
The Surplus Sales Associate will have the primary responsibility of producing listings for our e-commerce platforms. From learning to identify non-mission surplus items to testing and photographing the product to listing items and keeping inventory organized, the Surplus Sales Associate role is best filled by self-starters who have an eye for detail and excellent computing skills.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare tested inventory items to be listed across e-commerce platforms
- Photograph items for listing on e-commerce platforms
- Optimize data entry and list IT hardware and complete required information regarding item descriptions, weights & dimensions for accurate shipping quotes, etc.
- Product testing
- Create draft listings
- Research products
- Sort through warehouse
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Other tasks as assigned
