What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deburr Operator position at PCS Technical Services?
Parts Prep/Debur Technician
Hours: 8am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Load/unload parts and using various precision measuring tools.
- Accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.
- Clean parts using the chemical degreaser, parts washer, and power washer.
- Perform deburr operations to customers specifications using various air tools and equipment.
- Analyze and interpret op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
- Follow all policies and procedures including the use of proper PPE.
- Operate overhead crane when necessary.
- Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
- Demonstrates the ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.
- Good and reliable attendance and a positive attitude are a must.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Trade school certification in automotive refinishing/repair, a plus.
- Experience in same or similar field necessary.
- Ability to perform basic math functions including basic trigonometry.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a United States Citizen, or an US Permanent Resident.
