Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Rate: $30
Responsibilities:
- Repair and install electrical/IT circuits.
- Repair and maintain company equipment as needed.
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance of company equipment.
- Carry out facility and building maintenance as needed.
- Follow safety rules and work safely.
- Perform project work as assigned: Install new equipment, systems, processes as designed. Make modifications to equipment, building, processes as designed.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine spare parts needed.
- Use a computer and the Internet to obtain operating and maintenance manuals, spare parts lists, potential vendors for parts, information as appropriate to complement maintenance effort.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; electrical training and/or experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or chemical industry.
- Diploma or post high school training certificates for welding, pneumatics, or related subjects; Knowledge in automation system and process control.
- General mechanical and general building repairs.
- 120V and 480V 3 phase electrical.
- MIG and Sanitary TIG welding.
- Pneumatic circuits.
- Plumbing/piping and general metal working duct work, masonry (brick work), concrete, drywall installation and repair, HVAC, rigging, roof repair, lawn work, and painting.
- Experience operating a lift truck, scissors lift, articulating boom arm lift.
- Experience using rental equipment, such as concrete saw, concrete grinder, demolition hammer, generator, air compressor, etc. is desirable.
- Experience using a computer which includes email and Internet use.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Able to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and platforms and work 30ft. above the ground.
- Able to carry loads of up to 70lbs. on shoulders or in arms.
