Rate: $22.00-$28.00 (Based on Experience)
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Panel Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. As a Panel Builder, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all components meet our high standards of excellence. This position requires proficiency with various hand tools and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to fabricate and assemble components according to specifications.
- Perform surface mount technology (SMT) assembly tasks, ensuring adherence to IPC 610 standards.
- Assemble electrical components into a control panel for industrial machine.
- Perform laying out, drilling, tapping, mounting of components, and wiring to the electrical schematics.
- Quality and speed are important.
- Solder electronic components with precision and care.
- Conduct machining processes as needed for component creation.
- Work with logic controllers and electrical wiring to ensure proper functionality of assembled products.
- Use measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters to verify dimensions and electrical properties.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in panel fabrication, assembly, or a related field is preferred.
- Understanding of the basics of control panel building and wiring.
- Familiarity with hand tools, surface mount technology, soldering techniques, IPC 610 standards, machining processes, logic controllers, electrical wiring, calipers, and ohmmeters is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
