Overview
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various saws and machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the cutting process. This role is critical in maintaining production efficiency and meeting quality standards within our facility. The saw work requires someone that is detail oriented and can read a tape measure. Rate $20.00

Hours 7:00-4:00

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various types of saws, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on saw equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to determine cutting specifications and requirements for different materials.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances of cut materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and practices.
• Operate forklifts for material handling when required, ensuring safe transport of materials throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar machining role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers for precise measurements.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices within a manufacturing setting is essential.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
