Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Automation and Control Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control systems in an industrial environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and process engineering, with experience working with Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as you will be tasked with analyzing and troubleshooting complex equipment and process problems using control systems and data analysis tools.
In this role, you will lead large projects with limited supervision, design and administer automation system training packages, and implement controls and automation solutions to improve equipment reliability. You will also oversee contractors and consultants during construction, modification, and installation of plant equipment, facilities, and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with exposure to automation, programming, or control systems theory
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of industrial control systems architecture and configuration
- Advanced computer and software skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
