The Gunsmith II position is a critical role in our team, requiring a high level of expertise and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with small arms weapons, including foreign and domestic standard and non-standard systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform major repairs on small arms weapons, including custom pistols and rifles.
- Fabricate special jigs, fixtures, and tooling with some supervision.
- Read and understand blueprint drawings, working from them under direct supervision.
- Perform as primary instructor on most standard and non-standard small arms weapon systems.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of gunsmith tools and procedures.
- Moderate knowledge of firearms operating principles and ballistics.
- Thorough understanding of firearm operation principles.
- Computer literacy.
