Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at PD Systems LLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain power equipment such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.
- Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects; dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges; replace defective engines and subassemblies such as transmissions.
- Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical operations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is required for this position within 6 months of hire.
