Job Summary
Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work, providing general maintenance and repairs associated with the sustainment and operations of live fire ranges. Key Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work, providing general maintenance and repairs associated with the sustainment and operations of live fire ranges. Key Responsibilities:
- Performs grounds maintenance to include cutting of grass and maintenance of berms, firing points, and other range-associated grounds.
- Operates work-related vehicles and equipment, including gasoline or diesel-powered mowers, tow trailers, load materials, or equipment.
- Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds in a single lift.
- Must be able to walk long distances to clear vegetation for land navigation points.
- High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years of experience is required in Range Sustainment Work.
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Must have prior experience operating mowers (regular and zero turn) under 2000 pounds and weed eaters.
- Position will require the use and operation of a variety of equipment and hand tools.
- Must be able to obtain contractor pass for the installation.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
