We are looking for a Web Developer to join our team in our Bethesda office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web technologies and experience building responsive, scalable web applications. This role involves both front-end and back-end development, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.
PDA currently uses SiteFinity as its Content Management System (CMS), Cadmium and Crowd Wisdom Learning Management Systems (LMS), HubSpot Enterprise and the Aptify Association Management System (AMS). Each of PDA’s systems has some integration with PDA’s website and CMS to deliver PDA’s products, offerings and services to its members and customers.
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- 3 years of professional web development experience including the use, management and development of functions, features and pages of/in content management systems.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience developing and managing cloud-based systems used for organizational website delivery and content/function/feature management.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently ascend and descend stairs;
- Ability to independently reach, twist and bend;
- Ability to independently remain stationery for extended periods of time; and
- Ability to independently lift up to 30 pounds when required by work assignment.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
