We are currently looking for a dedicated person who has excellent managerial skills and great attention to detail to fill a full-time Pharmacy Director position at our pharmacy in Boulder. The Pharmacy Director will report directly to the Vice President of Operations. The primary responsibility of the Pharmacy Director is to manage and oversee all operations of the pharmacy component, including planning, organizing, implementing, and directing all programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PHARMACY DIRECTOR:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy
- Review and analyze on-going services to assure safety and efficiency in the programs involved
- Develop, maintain, and assure adherence to policies and procedures related to pharmacy component
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees as necessary
- Communicate regularly with Medical and Nursing staffs in matters pertaining to pharmaceutical services
- Conduct regular staff meetings
- Maintain standards for programs in accordance with all regulatory agencies and State and Federal law
- Orient visitors, inspectors, and others to pharmacy services as necessary
- Define duties of all pharmaceutical employees, and update job descriptions as needed
- Coordinate daily work area assignments and monitor employee attendance
- Maintain incident report file
- Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE OF THE PHARMACY DIRECTOR:
- Registered Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a closed-door pharmacy practice
- Effective communication, organizational, and management skills
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
- Minimum of 21 years of age
