Professional Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and client satisfaction
- Analyze employee benefit offerings and provide tailored solutions to clients
- Prepare and deliver renewal presentations in formats suited to each client’s needs
- Stay informed about current carrier products and industry trends
- Foster a growth mindset, focusing on both personal and team development
- Lead educational sessions for clients’ employees, including during Open Enrollment periods
- Advise clients on the administration of benefit plans, compliance, and alternative funding options
- Address client and employee inquiries related to employee benefits programs in a timely and knowledgeable manner
- Manage claim and billing issues, collaborating with clients and carriers to resolve them effectively
- Serve as the point of contact between clients and Third-Party Administrators, including for programs like FSAs and COBRA
- Guide clients through the enrollment process, explaining eligibility, qualifying events, terminations, and plan designs
- Provide ongoing support to maintain, grow, and expand client relationships
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and industry knowledge
- Prioritize daily tasks and seek assistance when necessary to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Meet with clients to address their insurance needs and concerns
- Ensure producers are fully informed of account status and activities
- Continuously build expertise in the employee benefits space to stay at the forefront of industry standards
- Perform other duties as needed to support the client services team
- Active Health and Life Insurance license
- A minimum of three years of experience in the employee benefits industry
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software
- A team-oriented attitude with a passion for driving growth and success
- Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with clients and team members
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
