Position Overview: The Personal Lines Account Manager will assist Producers and agency clients in the daily management and growth of a book of business through account retention, account rounding and new business growth. Must have experience working with high net-worth (HNW) clientele.
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position working hybrid or in-person in our office located in Charlotte, NC or Charleston, SC.

Professional Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to the Producer, Agency and HNW Personal Lines Clients in the daily management of policies.
- Complete new / renewal applications in coordination with Producer and Client.
- Quotes online and / or submit applications to eligible carriers.
- Follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotes / renewal policies.
- Review the carrier proposal for accuracy highlighting coverage differences from what was requested.
- Assist Producers in the preparation of client proposals, renewal summaries.
- Review and issue request for binders, evidence, certificates, policies and other related items; verify their accuracy, contractual and policy compliance; invoice and transact, prepare client documents and policy binders (electronic and/or paper)
- Work with Clients, Producers and Carriers to facilitate policy change requests, obtaining the information needed for processing, verify for accuracy, facilitate any corrections, invoice and transact.
- Processes renewals in coordination with Producer, Client and Carriers according to agency procedures.
- Reviews policies: verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections; as needed, between client and carrier.
- Manage and maintain productive relationships with critical centers of influence, family offices, wealth advisors, CPA’s, lenders, and realtors.
- Processes incoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately.
- Uses agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments, request cancellations from the carrier according to agency standards.
- 5 years of experience in similar role
- Current Property, Casualty Agents License
- Experience handling clients with a high net worth.
- Knowledge of insurance products and usages
- Knowledge of high-net-worth insurance markets such Chubb, Vault, Pure, Cincinnati, BerkleyOne, including non-admitted carriers and brokers. Understands a preferred insurer appetite, underwriting rules and rating procedures.
- Solid Microsoft Office, technology utilization, and experience with Applied EPIC or similar agency management system
- College degree preferred.
- Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Maintains a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverage, and technology to continuously improve knowledge, performance and maintain required licenses.
- Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communications skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency.
