Role: ASIC Designer
Location: Waukesha, WI (ONSITE from Day 1)
Job Type: Contract
Interview: Phone/Skype
We're seeking a Senior ASIC Designer to develop and guide ASICs for MR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide ASIC development for mixed-signal and digital design
Collaborate with ASIC simulation, design, and hardware teams
Define and execute ASIC test and verification plans
Support verification using industry standards (UVM)
Write functional specifications and provide technical support
Model, build, test, and modify prototypes
Ensure compliance with specifications and product requirements
Engage in all phases of new product introduction
Experience & Skills:
BS in Electrical Engineering or similar with 10 years in mixed signal ASIC design
Full cycle mixed-signal ASIC development experience
Proficiency with analog ASIC design tools (Synopsys, Cadence)
Experience with digital ASIC design and simulation tools (System Verilog/VHDL, QuestaSim, Xcelium)
Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent tools
Knowledge of project management processes
Experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
