We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Administrator - Location: BOSTON/SEATTLE/INDIANAPOLIS /PORTSMOUTH-New Hampshire (Hybrid) - Position Type 6-12 Months Contract Position.

About the Role:
This position will be a highly skilled, senior member of the team requiring a wide range of application development and application lifecycle knowledge following an Agile development methodology. Mainframe Administrator is responsible for the maintenance and operation of large-scale computer systems. Mainframe Administrators need a deep understanding of mainframe systems, excellent problem-solving skills.
Who you are:
Should have at least 15 years of Strong Mainframe System Administration Experience with Z-Series
Strong Communication skills and experience in Scripting and scheduling
What You'll Be Doing:
- Translate requirements and user stories into functional applications
- Installing and maintaining mainframe system software: Ensuring the mainframe's software is up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Providing technical support: Assisting with mainframe applications and software issues.
- Managing user access and security: Creating and managing user accounts and security settings.
- Monitoring system performance: Keeping an eye on system performance and capacity to ensure efficiency.
- Developing performance strategies: Implementing strategies to improve system performance and reliability.
- Disaster recovery planning: Planning and implementing procedures for disaster recovery.
- Coordinating with IT professionals: Working with other IT staff to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Conducting backups and recovery: Performing system backups and recovery processes.
- Documenting errors: Keeping logs of mainframe errors for future reference.
- Updating systems: Ensuring the mainframe systems are updated according to organizational requirements and technological advancements
- At a minimum, the ability to work from (8:00, 8:30 or 9:00am) to (5:00, 5:30 or 6:00pm) Monday through Friday.
- Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
- Ability to accept supervision.
- Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.

Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of REXX and Assemble Programming
- Knowledge of ACF2 & RACF
- Endevor Administration
- IBM Pipeline expertise
- Strong Knowledge of ESP & Stone Branch
- Experience in managing LPARS & Application Installations
- Deep understanding of FTPs and SFTPs
- ZOS upgrade experience from 2.5 to 3.1
- CICS Administration and Managing Regions
- Knowledge of DADS
