PDF is seeking an experienced Director of Sales, to join the PDF Cimetrix Sales team, who is responsible for growing market position in the United States by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with equipment manufacturers in the semiconductor and adjacent industries. This role requires a dynamic personality and an individual who is high energy, excellent communicator and can manage across functional teams. This position will be compensated with a base commission commensurate on experience.

Responsibilities
- US Sales and Account Management business activities
- Prepare annual sales plan, marketing plan and strategies that align with annual company objectives
- Leverage headquarters sales and support teams to meet US objectives; be a team player
- Maintain and enhance the worldwide reputation as a trusted advisor to our clients by fostering the company values
- Locate potential business deals by contacting potential customers and discovering and exploring opportunities
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing fit with company values, strategies, deal requirements, potential, and long-term value to the organization
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Work with marketing to promote the company brands
- Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, growing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Must be willing to travel frequently
- Excellent skills in networking with people and building business relationships
- Skilled in sales planning, prospecting, and closing business deals
- Ability to understand and sell to customer needs

- 5 years of experience in manufacturing factory automation sales preferred
- 3 years minimum sales and business development experience; working with foreign companies experience strongly preferred
- A proven ability to sell at the executive and engineering level
