PDFE LOGISTICS LLC is a dynamic and growing event rentals company dedicated to providing high-quality furniture, fixtures, and decor for a wide range of events. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Inventory Manager to oversee and maintain our extensive inventory. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, organization, and efficient flow of all rental items within our warehouse.
As our Warehouse Inventory Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of our operations by ensuring we have the right items, in the right condition, at the right time for our clients. You will also lead and mentor a team of two individuals.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's rental inventory of furniture, fixtures, and decor.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing inventory is accurately recorded and tracked.
- Enter all new and returned inventory items accurately and efficiently into our inventory management software.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all inventory movements and conditions.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
Warehouse Organization:
- Develop and maintain a logical and efficient warehouse layout for the storage and retrieval of all inventory items.
- Organize furniture, fixtures, and other rental items on warehouse racks and within designated areas to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols within the warehouse.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of two warehouse staff members.
- Delegate tasks effectively and provide clear instructions.
- Train new team members on inventory procedures and warehouse organization.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Software and Computer Skills:
- Proficiently utilize email for communication with internal teams and potentially vendors.
- Demonstrate strong general computer skills and the ability to navigate various software programs.
- Accurately and efficiently input data into our inventory management software (experience with [Specify Software if applicable] is a plus).
- Possess strong typing skills for efficient data entry.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in inventory management within a warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage a large inventory of diverse items, including furniture and fixtures.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in email, general software applications, and accurate typing.
- Experience with inventory management software is highly preferred.
- Ability to effectively organize inventory items on warehouse racking systems.
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed (with appropriate safety measures).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
